This post was supposed to go up last April, but our server went down for some performance maintenance. The event was so rad, that I decided to put it up anyways!

Last April 17th, Jay (5&ADime) came out to Chula Vista to accompany me and his godson Royce to the Olympic Training Center for the ABA Nationals. Besides the instant sun burn, I think Jay had a great time watching the event and how competitive the sport is now considering he used to race BMX back in the day in his hometown of Sacramento. He recalls his leathers read “Jammin’ Jay”. We are able to meet up with a 5&ADime supporter, Jason Terry and his son Dawson, who made it pretty far on the race. Unfortunately, he crashed during the finals and was unable to advance in. We hope he gets to take it all the way next time around.
